Student Support

At IVTDI, we want to empower you to realize your potential. That is why we are committed to providing extensive financial support through a range of non-repayable scholarships, grants, bursaries and prizes. This approach demonstrates our commitment towards community development.

Scholarships

Scholarships are usually a sum of money granted to a student to support their studies, often because of prior merit (e.g. academic; sporting; musical achievement)

Bursaries

Bursaries are usually a financial award granted to a student based on financial need, or based on belonging to a disadvantaged or under-represented group as recognized in the IVTDI Participation Plan (please note that ‘scholarship’ and ‘bursary’ are often interchangeable terms.

Grants

Grants can be similar to bursaries. They are usually a form of financial aid awarded based on meeting specific criteria.

Prizes

Prizes are usually financial rewards based on academic performance or achievement determined by exam boards or a panel of academics.

NOTE: IVTDI as of now only offer Bursaries.
